Andrew Baer lives and works in New York City. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College, Hartford, CT, and a law degree from Columbia Law School, New York, NY; and he has studied visual arts at Columbia University with a number of prominent artists and teachers, including Medrie MacPhee, David Chow, Gregory Amenoff, Stuart Diamond, David True and Tomas Vu Daniel. He has been an artist participant in Triangle Arts Workshop, Brooklyn, NY, and a member of The Painting Center, New York, NY. One recent show: What Only Paint Can Do, in Brooklyn, curated by Karen Wilkin for the Triangle Arts Association. Visiting Artist, American Academy in Rome, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Collections include a series of 26 paintings at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
